She helps clients to embrace their design, surface and celebrate their strengths, and to enjoy the journey (even the challenges) from a position of confidence and peace.

Counseling Approach:
Embrace Your Brain
Steph specializes in helping differently-wired individuals, such as gifted, anxious, ADHD, twice exceptional, and other neurodivergent teens and adults. Her focus includes identity development, embracing individual strengths, and navigating challenges related to heightened sensitivities, emotional dysregulation, lagging executive skills, and unhealthy thinking habits affecting various aspects of life. She also assists clients in unlocking their motivation and developing self-advocacy skills, empowering them to confidently navigate their life’s journey.

Steph’s approach to counseling is centered around the belief that each individual has their own unique design and strengths, and requires a personalized approach to therapy. She integrates a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet the specific needs of her clients. With unconditional positive regard and empathy, Steph builds a therapeutic alliance, providing tools and support while surfacing and leveraging each client’s strengths and solution-seeking process. She believes in collaborating with her clients to identify the patterns of their lives and how they may be helping or hindering progress.
